Gastroenterology is a branch of Internal Medicine (Internal Medicine) which deals with digestive system diseases. Examines the disorders of all digestive system organs from mouth to anus (mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, large intestine, gallbladder, liver, pancreas). Endoscopic diagnostic methods and ultrasound are frequently used in this science.

• PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy - Insertion of a feeding tube from the abdominal skin to the stomach in patients with malnutrition)
• Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomic Jejunostomy (Insertion of additional tubes in Jejenum to prevent reflux-induced aspiration pneumonia in patients with PEG)
• Nazo - Jejunal Tube Installation
• Percutaneous drainage (drainage tube) placement in patients with large amounts of acid or intraabdominal abscess
• Diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of cirrhosis and its complications
• Diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel disease
The most important factor that prevents the patient from appearing to the gastroenterologist is the anxiety and fear of the procedures.
